In my series Mandalas,  I contribute to the dialog of fragility, surrounding climate-change by broaching the topic humankind’s impermanence.  Having appropriated the symbolism of Mandalas, I am  exploring the belief that humans can exert control over Earth.  The repoussed Mandalas, paired with my continued use of non-plasticized natural objects is inspired by Nature’s infinite ability to grow, evolve, and thrive in unexpected ways. Exemplary of how Earth will burst through our artifacts and “permanent” temples.

Earth will continue to be prolific beyond our understanding of finite time, discovery, and our definition of life, as we hem-and-haw over possibility of man-made climate change.
